About Bolin Grove Farms

How we began

Bolin Grove Farms was named after and inspired by Walter and Jimmie Bolin (grandparents) who started the farm in 1959.  They lived on the farm for almost 40 years.

Walter Roop, grandson, bought 40 acres of the land from the family in 2018 with the dream to continue his mother's and grandparent's legacy.  Walter and, son Tyler Roop, had already spent countless years grooming the farm and thought it was time we shared the beauty and the efforts of our hard work with others.  This was our inspiration!

Our New Adventure

Bolin Grove Farms is a 3rd generation, 40-acre family farm located in Hernando, MS. We offer an ideal venue for outdoor weddings, baby/wedding showers, family reunions, photo sessions and birthday parties (fishing included) which includes use of our main farmhouse and Loft overlooking lake with 64-foot pier, flagstone patio with outdoor kitchen and beautifully maintained gardens for your enjoyment!  We are just off Hwy 269, 5 miles south on Getwell Road.
