About Bolin Grove Farms

How we began

Bolin Grove Farms was named after and inspired by Walter and Jimmie Bolin (grandparents) who started the farm in 1959.  They lived on the farm for almost 40 years.  Their grandson, Walter Roop, bought 40 acres of the land from the family in 2018 with the dream to continue his mother's and grandparent's legacy.  Our family has been developing and enjoying the property for years.  Walter and Tyler Roop had already spent countless years and hours grooming the farm and thought it was time we shared the beauty and the efforts of our hard work with others.  This was our inspiration!

Our New Adventure

Bolin Grove Farms is a family owned and operated farm offering U-pick/We-pick pumpkins, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, fruit trees, farm fresh eggs, a stocked lake with F1-tiger bass/copper nose bluegill fishing, birthday/high school graduation parties and small outdoor weddings. We are just off Hwy 269, 5 miles south on Getwell Road.

Our vision is to help you create a wonderful event that you and your guests will enjoy and remember.
